Daemon's Souls remake developer Bluepoint is practical on an "original" game.

That's according to a new interview with IGN, published aboard the announcement that Blue point Games was being acquired by PlayStation earlier today. "Our next visualize, we're working on freehanded content right-minded now. We can't verbalise about what that is, just that's the following step in the evolution for US," says Blue point president Marco Thrush.

"The passage from remasters to remakes was to trial ourselves and push ourselves harder for the next step," the president continued. Thrush also pointed to Bluepoint's natural growth over the last some years every bit the stepping stone to developing an exclusively innovative halt, saying that the development team right now is comprised of over 90 people.

Thrush adds that the squad at Bluepoint Games is "highly experienced," with the mean experience level among staff members being roughly 15 years. "We have that master copy game development mindset in our hearts, and that's what we're now ready, finally ready with the backup of Sony to push forward and show what we can practice, and show off what PlayStation can do."

Ripe like a sho, we'll have to hold and check what Bluepoint Games is up to, but father't expect an formal reveal for quite some metre yet, as the Daemon's Souls remake alone just launched last year in November alongside the PS5. The acquisition of Bluepoint Games marks PlayStation's third acquisition since July, as the publisher has purchased Firesprite, Nixxes, and now Bluepoint.
